Lessons of French

• Starting dates: each Monday all year round (except during school holidays)

On the first morning at the school, students take a written and an oral test to assess their level of French. The written test includes comprehension, written expression, grammar and vocabulary. In the oral test students are required to take part in a role play with the examiner.

Work Experience

Duration: 4 to 8 weeks maximum
Activities offered: Unpaid internship in one of the following areas: communications/public information, school services, administration, cultural activities, web marketing, translation.

The work timetable includes 3 hours per day in the afternoons, Monday to Friday.
All of the positions offered require personal qualities such as responsibility, autonomy, team working skills.

How to apply

To participate in the Work Experience program, at least an Intermediate level of French (corresponding to the B1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference) is needed.
The program is not open to beginners!

Applicants must send a written request to ACCORD. All application requests should include a short CV and a presentation letter in French, as well as the dates in which the applicant wish to participate.

Upon reception of their request, all applicants are tested to assess their level of French knowledge. The test is in the form of a telephonic interview.

The possibility to be accepted for the Internship phase will depend on the applicant’s level of French as well as on the number of available internships in the period requested.

Accommodation

Accommodation is not included in the Work Experience offer. Accommodation fees are at the charge of participants for the whole duration of their stay.
